Effective November 4, 20261. About Tiny Tabloid
Tiny Tabloid is developing a monthly newspaper service for private groups of friends and family. These terms cover use of this website and describe the planned messaging program. Questions can be sent to grady@tinytabloid.com.
The service is not open for enrollment yet. This site is informational, and its sample stories and people are fictional. Product details, availability, and pricing may change. Any paid offering will state its price and additional terms before you commit.
2. Tiny Tabloid text messaging program
When available, the Tiny Tabloid SMS/MMS program will send opted-in participants prompts to contribute news, replies about their contributions, group-related service updates, and links to completed issues.
You must explicitly opt in using the enrollment process we provide and have authority to use the mobile number you enroll. An invitation from another participant does not count as your consent. Text consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies based on reminders, your replies, and issue delivery. The newspaper is planned as a monthly issue; the number of messages may be higher.
- Costs. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan.
- Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages. You may receive a final confirmation, after which we will stop sending texts unless you explicitly enroll again.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance or email grady@tinytabloid.com.
- Delivery. Delivery depends on your carrier and network. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy for details.
3. Your contributions
Submit only stories, photos, and other material you own or have permission to share. Respect the privacy of the people in your content. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing material, or use the service to harass others or send unsolicited messages.
You retain ownership of your content. By contributing to a group issue, you give Tiny Tabloid permission to store, process, edit, format, and display that content as needed to provide the service to your group. This includes processing by providers that act on our behalf. It does not give us permission to sell your content or use it in public advertising without your separate permission.
4. Editing and group privacy
The planned service uses AI to help edit and arrange submissions. AI can make mistakes. Review your contributions and tell us about errors that need correction. We do not guarantee that every submission will appear in an issue.
Group content is intended for group members. Do not share another person's contributions outside the group without permission. We cannot guarantee what a recipient does with content they can access.
5. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 to enroll in the planned service. Do not interfere with site security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private content, impersonate someone else, or misuse messaging features. We may restrict access or remove content to address abuse, legal requirements, or violations of these terms.
6. Availability and responsibility
We provide this website and preview on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or availability of planned features. The service is not for emergencies or time-sensitive communications.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tiny Tabloid is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of the website or service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the current terms and effective date here and provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting enrolled participants.
